Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat
Upon arrival in Casablanca, meet your driver and begin the journey along the Atlantic coast toward Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Depending on arrival time, enjoy an introduction to Rabat, including a visit to the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas with its stunning ocean views. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, depart Rabat heading north through scenic countryside toward Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to wander the charming blue-washed streets, explore the medina, and admire the relaxed mountain atmosphere. Sunset offers beautiful viewpoints over the town and surrounding hills.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fes
Enjoy a peaceful morning in Chefchaouen before traveling toward Fes. The journey passes through rolling hills, olive groves, and traditional villages. Arrival in Fes is expected in the afternoon, allowing time to relax or take a short walk near your accommodation in preparation for the city tour the next day.
Day 4: Guided City Tour of Fes
Today is dedicated to exploring Fes with a knowledgeable local guide. Discover the UNESCO-listed medina, one of the world’s oldest living cities. Highlights include the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and the famous tanneries. The tour also includes panoramic views over the medina before returning for a relaxed evening.
Day 5: Fes – Sahara Desert
An early departure takes you south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture, and continue through cedar forests where Barbary macaques are often seen. The landscape gradually transforms as you pass valleys, palm groves, and desert towns before arriving in the Sahara region near Merzouga. Enjoy a warm welcome and prepare for the desert experience.
Day 6: Sahara Desert Exploration & Activities

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
After sunrise and breakfast, depart the desert and travel through arid landscapes toward Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon with towering rock walls carved by a river. Enjoy time to walk through the gorge before continuing toward the scenic Dades Valley, known for its kasbahs, winding roads, and unique rock formations. Overnight in the valley surrounded by nature.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses and palm oases, passing traditional Berber villages and historic kasbahs. Visit Ouarzazate and continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. After exploring the site, cross the High Atlas Mountains via a spectacular mountain pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
Day 9: Guided City Tour of Marrakech
Explore Marrakech with a local guide, discovering its rich history and vibrant culture.
