Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Agdz

Depart from Agadir in the morning and travel east through the scenic Anti-Atlas Mountains. Stop in Taroudant, often called “little Marrakech,” to explore its medina and photograph its ancient walls. Continue to Taliouine, the heart of Morocco’s saffron region, where you can visit a small museum dedicated to this prized spice. Journey through mountain passes to Taznakht, known for Berber carpets, and visit a cooperative to see traditional weaving. Descend into the Dra’a Valley, arriving in Agdz, an oasis town famous for its palm groves. Overnight in a guesthouse overlooking the valley.

Day 2: Agdz – N’Qob – Merzouga

After breakfast, visit Kasbah Tamnougalt, one of the oldest kasbahs in the Dra’a Valley. Continue along the lush Dra’a River and ancient Caravans Road, stopping in N’Qob for lunch. Pass through Alnif and Tazzarine before arriving at the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga. Settle into your desert camp, enjoy Moroccan tea, and take a camel ride across the dunes to watch a stunning sunset. Dinner and an evening of traditional music around the campfire. Overnight in a fully equipped desert tent.

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore the Erg Chebbi sandscape before heading to Erfoud to see the traditional khettarat, an ingenious ancient irrigation system. Continue to the Todra Gorges, where you can walk along the cliffs and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Travel further to the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations, and spend the night in a guesthouse with dinner included.

Day 4: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, drive through the Valley of Roses to Kel’aa M’Gouna, famous for its rose harvest and local cosmetic cooperatives. Continue along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” to the Skoura Oasis and visit Kasbah Amredhil. Journey onward to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” to explore film studios where famous movies were shot. From there, visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a breathtaking example of Moroccan architecture. Continue through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass to arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 5: Marrakech Exploration

Spend a full day exploring Marrakech, the vibrant city of colors, history, and culture. Visit the bustling medina, the iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa square, and the Saadian Tombs. Wander through the Majorelle Garden and admire the stunning Bahia Palace. Enjoy shopping in the souks and experience Moroccan cuisine at local restaurants. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 6: Marrakech – Agadir

After breakfast, depart Marrakech for Agadir, traveling along scenic routes with panoramic viewpoints. Stop for photographs and breaks along the way. Arrive in Agadir by the afternoon, concluding your unforgettable Moroccan adventure.
