Tour details :
Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Agdz
Start your journey from Agadir in the morning and head east through the scenic Anti-Atlas Mountains. Stop in Taroudant, known as “little Marrakech,” to explore its medina and ancient walls. Continue to Taliouine, the heart of Morocco’s saffron region, and visit a museum dedicated to saffron cultivation. Drive through mountain passes to Taznakht, famous for Berber carpets, and see a cooperative where local women weave traditional textiles. Descend into the Dra’a Valley and arrive in Agdz, an oasis town renowned for its palm groves. Overnight in a guesthouse with dinner.
Day 2: Agdz – N’Qob – Merzouga
After breakfast, explore Kasbah Tamnougalt, one of the oldest kasbahs in the Dra’a Valley. Travel along the lush oases of the Dra’a River and the historic Caravans Road, stopping in N’Qob for lunch. Continue through Alnif and Tazzarine to reach Merzouga and the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes. Arrive at your desert camp, enjoy Moroccan tea and snacks, and embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes to watch a breathtaking sunset. Return to the camp for dinner and an evening of traditional music under the stars. Overnight in a fully equipped desert tent.
Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through the Erg Chebbi area. Stop in Erfoud to visit the khettarat, a fascinating underground irrigation system. Continue to the Todra Gorges, where you can walk along dramatic cliffs and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Travel through the Dades Valley, known for its striking rock formations, and spend the night in a comfortable guesthouse with dinner included.
Day 4: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Agadir
After breakfast, drive through the Valley of Roses and visit Kel’aa M’Gouna, famous for its rose harvest and local cooperatives producing rose-based products. Continue along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” to Skoura Oasis and explore Kasbah Amredhil. Head to Ouarzazate, where you can view the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here, journey back to Agadir, enjoying panoramic viewpoints and scenic stops along the way, arriving by the afternoon and concluding your adventure.
