Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
Your journey begins with a warm welcome in Tangier, followed by a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. Nestled among the hills, this peaceful town is instantly recognizable for its blue-painted streets and whitewashed buildings. While the town’s appearance reflects Mediterranean influence, its soul is deeply rooted in Moorish tradition. Stroll through the calm, car-free medina and explore notable landmarks such as the main square, the grand mosque, and the historic Jewish quarter. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere before settling in for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, continue toward the ancient Roman site of Volubilis, a UNESCO-listed archaeological treasure that once served as a key settlement of the Roman Empire in North Africa. Walk among the impressive ruins, mosaics, and columns that reveal daily life centuries ago. The journey then leads to Meknes, one of Morocco’s Imperial Cities, where monumental gates and historic structures reflect its former royal status. After exploring the city’s highlights, travel onward to Fes, where you will spend the night.
Day 3: Fes City Tour – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt
Today begins with a guided exploration of Fes, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities. Discover its three distinct sections and wander through the maze-like streets of the ancient medina, rich with history, craftsmanship, and tradition. After the city tour, the journey continues southward with stops in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture and pristine environment. Continue through Azrou, surrounded by cedar forests where wild Barbary macaques roam freely. Enjoy the natural scenery before reaching Midelt for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

By afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. After a short rest, embark on a camel trek across the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Pass through vast palm groves before arriving at the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering rock walls frame a lush riverbed. Day 6: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Today’s route takes you through the oasis of Skoura, dotted with palm groves and historic kasbahs, and onward to Ouarzazate, known as Morocco’s cinematic capital. Continue to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic earthen villages in the country. Explore its ancient passageways and learn about its role in major film productions. The journey then continues across mountain scenery toward Marrakech, where you arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Marrakech City Tour or Departure
Depending on your departure schedule, enjoy a guided walking tour of Marrakech. Explore the vibrant medina, visit architectural gems such as palaces and historic tombs, and wander through bustling souks filled with spices, textiles, and handcrafted goods. Admire the iconic minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque and experience the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where performers, storytellers, and musicians bring the city to life. If time is limited, you will be transferred directly to the airport for your departure.
